Mandy Haynes spent hours on barstools and riding in vans listening to outrageous tales from some of the best songwriters and storytellers in Nashville, Tennessee. She traded a stressful career as a pediatric cardiac sonographer for a happy one and now lives in Fernandina Beach, Florida with her three dogs, and one turtle. She is a contributing writer for Amelia Islander Magazine. She is the editor of one of the fasted growing, reader-focused, on-line magazines, Reading Nation Magazine. Mandy writes literary fiction with a southern drawl. She is the author of two award-winning short story collections, Walking the Wrong Way Home and Sharp as a Serpent’s Tooth Eva and Other Stories and she is the editor of the anthology, Works in Progress, and author of the novella, Oliver.
